Meet Our Founder
Hi, I'm Ashleigh, the founder of Inspiring Curious Minds, a microschool in Clermont, FL.
I’m so glad you’re here.
After spending years in the traditional school system, I made the difficult decision to step away. I saw how the rigid structure - one that expected all children (and teachers) to learn and work the same way - left so many kids feeling frustrated, overlooked, or disconnected.
When I had the opportunity to teach overseas, I experienced something completely different. I saw learning environments that were flexible, joyful, and centered around the individual child. It was eye-opening. I came back to Florida with a clear purpose: to help create that kind of experience for families here.
For the past four years, I’ve been homeschooling children across Central Florida - meeting each child where they are, nurturing their curiosity, and helping them grow into confident, capable learners. Now, I’m building something even more intentional: a safe, welcoming homeschool program for children ages 5–12, designed to support both kids and their families.
About Inspiring Curious Minds
Our approach blends elements of Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia philosophies. That means we focus on creativity, hands-on exploration, meaningful connection, and the belief that children are naturally curious and capable. We also include some guided, structured learning experiences to build essential skills and confidence along the way.
Families can choose a flexible schedule - anywhere from 1 to 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday - to fit what works best for their routines and needs. Small group sizes allow us to truly get to know each child and create an experience that feels personal and inspiring.
If you’ve been looking for something different - a space where your child can thrive, explore, and truly be themselves - we’d love to welcome you.
Reach out anytime to learn more, ask questions, or schedule a visit. I’d love to connect and see how we can support your homeschooling journey.
Our mission at Inspiring Curious Minds is to develop compassionate and confident students, nurturing each child’s unique strengths through hands-on learning.
